Over time, Doodle Baseball became known along with other great doodle games like Pac-Man (2010), "Great Ghoul Duel" for Halloween (2018), and Champion Island, which was inspired by the Tokyo Olympics (2021). What made it unique, though, was that it could take baseball to its most basic level and make fun of it in a way that Americans and people from other countries could enjoy. Even people who don't know much about baseball could enjoy the timing-based mechanics of hitting the bat, and the fun animations kept things light. Fans celebrated its charm by making memes, sharing gameplay videos, and playing it every year on July 4 as a kind of ritual.
