West Africa Forum

I was talking with Henry, and he brought the idea of a forum in West Africa in Accra, Ghana to bring together different stakeholders at an event in West Africa. I think this is a good idea, and I would be happy to contribute. From the site of www.SmartMoneyMatch.com we would have the option to have mailings (we have a mailing list of > 300,000 subscribers), announced in the event calendar, users can have a specific URL for the investments for West Africa as we have e.g., https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/investments/search/sub-sahara%20africa for West Africa or Sub Saharan Africa to help promote it quite a bit.
We can – especially if we are heavily engaged with the mailing/organization – also brand or co-brand the event as SmartMoneyMatch event/initiative.
I think this could be a highly successful endeavor as we have a lot of different aspects to list the projects on https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/user/addinvestment improve access to capital/gaining credibility by sharing due diligence (like e.g., on https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/Global%20Strategic%20Capital%20AG/due-diligence that potential investors get an idea, whether a project is serious or not) and also many investors interested in private markets (in West Africa most projects will be private equity/VC I assume), the investment search https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/investments (here sustainable/impact investments are in high demand as well).
I would like to make the following introductions for potential collaboration:
Henry Kadebane  https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/henry.kadebane.406 would be interested in contributing. He lives in Ghana and as I spoke with him has a good business understanding
Sanay Lalwani works for Ethicolive and they organize several events in Africa. I think they would be a good partner to bring experience for such conferences. His profile is https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/sanay.lalwani I think Ethicolive might be a good partner as an event producer.
Ralf Webster: He is based in Johannesburg https://www.smartmoneymatch.com/Ralph.Webster as we spoke a few times, he sees to have a good understanding of the markets in Sub-Saharian Africa.
I think it would be good for feedback, whether you would be interested in contributing and how and maybe also to add other serious stakeholders who could contribute.
Kind regards,
P.S. Please leave your comments and also connect mutually to proceed.

Hello All, Please let's open Sub-Saharian Africa for investment Individually most investors will not come to Africa due to many factors, but with a summit or conference we could all meet and discuss and possibly get some businesses done, it all depends on us to make it happen

I also think this might be a good opportunity to make capital markets more efficient in an underserved region for financing. It's good if all interested parties indicate their interest e.g., with a comment here to start the coordination.
