Energy Startup Day Investor Speed-Dating

The Energy Startup Day is a yearly event connecting ground-breaking Swiss energy & cleantech startups to incumbent companies, public institutions and investors to foster relationships, collaboration and investments.
Energy Startup Day connects:
- Startups in the areas of energy, cleantech, mobility and smart buildings that are looking for strategic partnerships.
- Incumbents & public institutions (tech companies, utilities, municipalities) who seek innovative solutions in the energy, cleantech, mobility and/or smart buildings sector.
- Investors who aim to support the transition of the energy industry and capture promising new opportunities.
The Energy Startup Day is organised by the ZHAW and is a two-part event.
- In the morning from 9-12pm, Investor Speed Dating takes place with selected startups & Investors. The investors choose the startups they want to meet.
- In the afternoon from 2-5pm the Energy Startup Day runs with a pitch and poster session, and the startup prizes will be awarded at the end.
- From 5pm on, an apero will be available for more informal networking.
The registration for the Energy Startup Day includes a day ticket for the Powertage (incl. admission to the Powertage expert forum and catering).
The Powertage is the leading meeting place for the Swiss electricity industry.
In Addition to the Energy Startup Day, 10 startups have the opportunity to have an exhibition stand in the xplor Startup Village for free during the three days of the event. The startups must apply separately (same application form) and will be selected by a jury.
Note that if you are joining the Energy Startup Day and/or the Investor Speed Dating, and are also at the xplor Startup Village, you should plan to have at least three team members to be present on May 17.
