As the world seeks to transition towards more sustainable and eco-friendly energy sources, the biofuels and bioenergy market has been experiencing phenomenal growth.

The 2nd Annual Advanced Biofuels Forum is geared towards people that are involved in creating a sustainable transport sector and the forum will brings together industry leaders, and senior representatives from biodiesel producers, downstream oil companies, clean fuel producers, alternative fuels industries, process technology providers, fuel traders, brokers, consultants, crop science and feedstock suppliers to discuss current market trends, advancements & developments of advanced biofuels,  existing regulation impacting the markets will be reviewed to ascertain where the most commercial developments & business opportunities lie in these rapidly growing markets.

Hear bright minds brainstorm about the risk and challenges in the transport industry making use of advanced biofuels. These challenges are known to restrict and disrupt the flexibility, efficiency and cost-efficiency of the market. The session will also highlight policy concerning Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and also express the opportunity and potential to tackle the challenges pinned out. Discuss about the policies used in the analysis of value chain, which are structured as (i) the roles of advanced biofuels current market and the EU policy, (ii) the challenges which restrict and disrupt the flexibility, efficiency and cost-efficiency performance, (iii) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and (iv) the future.

The 2nd Annual Advanced Biofuels Forum will create an avenue for the discussion of decarbonizing the aviation industry which is significant to airplanes and airline manufacturers, making use of hydro-processed esters and fatty acids produced from vegetable oils, fats and waste from animals. Different variations of aviation fuels have been used for over thousands of flights, and due to the demand for high safety standards, kerosene has dropped in shares. A very low number of marine fuel supplies are seen to be making use of biofuels for transport in not far distance due to poor availability of fuel, approval, high costs and retrofitting. While trade shipping, which is carried out for international goods transport and trading, still relies on the current source of energy, fossil fuels.
