Gaining the Edge - Alternative Investment Cap Intro Florida 2022 to benefit at-risk youth will take place in person on January 19 - 21 in West Palm Beach, Florida and will continue virtually until Friday, February 11. The event is open to alternative investment fund managers, allocators, and service providers.

Gaining the Edge - Cap Intro Florida 2022 is continuing the momentum from the firms recent virtual cap intro event, which was the largest virtual cap intro event in the history of the alternative investment industry with over 1,900 registrations. Participants will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face in Florida and attend educational panels, participate in 1-1 meetings, and connect during informal social networking activities.

The in-person agenda will be followed by an additional two weeks of virtual meetings. Participants will have the option of attending in-person and virtually, or participating virtually only. Gaining the Edge - Global Virtual Cap Intro is complementary to other leading virtual cap intro events due to the low overlap of managers and investors that participate.

The event will kick-off on Wednesday, January 19, with panel discussions led by institutional investors followed by a cocktail party. Days 2 and 3 will be dedicated to 1-1 capital introduction meetings between managers and allocators. We will also hold optional social activities on Saturday, January 22 (more details coming soon).

The Florida event will combine the best features of Gaining the Edge – Virtual Cap Intro with Gaining the Edges annual New York Alternative Investment Conference, and the Gaining the Edge - Alternative Investment Educational Webinar Series. The firms annual New York Alternative Investment Conference has sold out all 6 previous events with over 2,000 unique alternative investment industry professionals, and its alternative investment educational webinar series has hosted 19 episodes with over 5,000 unique industry professionals.

Gaining the Edge is committed to helping at-risk youth and allows managers to register by either paying a registration fee or by making a larger, direct donation to a charity of the managers choice, as long as it benefits at-risk youth. Gaining the Edge also donates a large percentage of its event proceeds to non-profit organizations that benefit at-risk youth. To date, Gaining the Edge and Agecroft Partners have proudly donated over $2.7 million to these organizations.
