Impact Infrastructure Fund (IIF) is a private equity fund that will focus on infrastructure public private partnerships with a strong impact dimension. While the Impact Investing market is rapidly growing, the offer for Infrastructure funds with an impact dimension has not matched the demand. IIF will contribute to bridge the gap. The Fund intends to raise USD 50 mln that will be invested into PPPs for an average of USD 5 mln per project. It will focus on a few key sectors in emerging markets. The Fund will always invest alongside reputable investors and sees its mission as promoting the impact dimension in the structuring of a transaction. It will work in close cooperation with public authorities and private sector at the global level (Africa, Asia, Latin America). Management will be ensured by a team led by 4IP partners with the support of analysts. It will capitalize on the extensive experience of 4IP partners in the field of PPPs. Return targets are in the range of 15-20%. Impact objectives will be further defined in the guidelines that will be elaborated before the fund-raising period. The Fund will have a 10 years duration. It is expected to close by the end of 2019, and will have a two-year disbursement period.
