Brooklyn-based artist Jacob Farkas was born into a family with a history of painting and fell in love with watercolours at the age of 10. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at The City University of New York, from where he recieved his BFA degree. Over the last 15 years he has developed his own distinctive painting style that is instantly recognisable. Jacob Farkas' watercolors are are full of luminous color, rich shadows, and beautifully drawn shapes.
